Bending die A die in which blanks or other blanks are bent and deformed along a straight line (bending line) to obtain a workpiece of a certain Angle and shape.
A deep drawing die is a die for making blank sheet metal into open hollow parts, or making hollow parts further change shape and size.
Forming die is a blank or semi-finished workpiece according to the figure of convex, concave mold shape directly copy forming, and the material itself only produces local plastic deformation of the mold. Such as expanding die, shrinking die, flaring die, undulating forming die, flanging die, shaping die, etc.
Riveting die is to use external forces to make the participating parts in a certain order and way to connect or lap together, and then form a whole.
The materials used to make stamping molds are steel, carbide, steel-joint carbide, zinc-based alloy, low melting point alloy, aluminum bronze, polymer materials and so on. Most of the materials used in the mould stamping manufacture are mainly steel, and the common types of materials used for working parts of dies are: carbon tool steel, low alloy tool steel, high carbon high or medium chromium tool steel, medium carbon alloy steel, high speed steel, matrix steel, and carbide, steel cemented carbide, etc.
